The 2020 SDSU Water Career Fair event builds on the 2019 SDSU Water Days event, a workshop hosted by the SDSU Blue Gold researchers in April 2019, which included around 70 participants from academia, industry, and government.
This event will be an opportunity for industries and employers to network with water specialized students, and for students to showcase their research, projects, and/or special interests throughout the water-specific fields at SDSU. The SDSU Water Career Fair is designed to be a more intimate business-casual setting with happy hour drinks and food. Come ready to mingle and learn more about these highly-motivated water students and, in turn, they will get to learn more about various companies and employment opportunities. For the 2020 career fair, we envision approximately 40 industry and government participants and around 100 students. This event is put on by student volunteers and the SDSU Blue Gold group, which consists of faculty from four different departments and colleges: CAL (Geography), COS (Geological Sciences), Engineering (CCEE), and Public Health.
